Each year REINS Therapeutic Riding Program partners with The Foundation For Senior care to throw a wonderful event called Horses, Hats, and Hope. The event is held at the REINS facility where they set up a big screen to stream the Kentucky Derby! Guests come dressed to the nines, including hats and fascinators! There's a contest for best dressed along with silent action, photo booth, and raffle drawings for each race! There was a delicious lunch served along as well as mint juleps and whiskey tasting available!
This year I was able to attend and photograph the event!
I had a great time photographing the event, watching the derby and getting to see everyone so dressed up! My handsome "assistant" (aka husband) got to join me for the event as well! We had to sneak over to the Photo Booth for a quick photo!
This event is so much fun and goes to support two great organizations in Fallbrook! Keep your eye out for next years event!
