Castro Family | McCoy Equestrian Center, Chino Hills

Updated: Apr 17, 2019

Meet the Castro Family! Rodrigo, Jordin, and Mila were so fun to work with! We met for our Design Consultation to plan for their session and when it came to discussing location, they were open to suggestions. We talked about a few ideas, but then they mentioned possibly taking photos near their home in Chino Hills. As we talked more about it, we quickly realized that this area was not only a beautiful location, but had special meaning to them. They were married here at McCoy Equestrian Center and Chino Hills has been Mila's first home. They are considering moving soon so taking their portraits here was a way to remember this season of their lives. I love getting to create beautiful portraits, but how much more special when they will serve as reminders of this precious season of their lives.

Before each a every session, I sit down with clients for a Design Consultation. This meeting serves as a chance for us to get to know each other before the day of the session and is a opportunity for us to discuss vision for your session. We'll discuss the feel of your images, location and time of day, and I'll give pointers for wardrobe choices to ensure you all look good! We also will get to discuss how you plan to display your images. You can touch and feel album samples, see Wall Art inspiration, and think about who else would enjoy Gift Prints from your family. This preliminary planning meeting ensures that we are on the same page regarding your portraits and sets us up to have a sucessful session together. My Consultation with the Castros brought to light a location that brought even more meaning to their session.

The Castros are missionaries with Cru. They are passionate about working with and speaking into the lives of university students. If you want to learn a little more about their ministry, click here.
